From January 21-24, 2026, the globally influential Imm Cologne Furniture Fair will kick off once again. As Europe’s most significant furniture trade event, this year’s fair focuses on sustainable design, space optimization, and efficient supply chains. It attracts over a thousand brands and professional buyers from around the world. Foshan Hebe Co., Ltd. will showcase its latest range of compressed soft furniture. With lightweight manufacturing and comprehensive cost optimization as its core strengths, the company aims to meet the demands of German and EU markets for efficient, eco-friendly, and cost-effective furniture. It will undoubtedly become a highlight among Chinese manufacturers at the exhibition.
During the show, Hebe focused on three key requirements of the German market: suitability for small spaces, environmental compliance, and great value for money. The company introduced modular compressed sofa s, multi-functional soft beds, and minimalist living room solutions. Their products combine German minimalist aesthetics with ergonomics, meeting EU standards in terms of size, durability, and material sustainability. They also comply with strict environmental regulations, having passed FSC certification and EN 717-1 formaldehyde tests. In terms of manufacturing, Hebe uses patented vacuum compression technology to reduce the volume of large pieces of furniture by more than 60%, while still maintaining 95% of their comfort and resilience. Live demonstrations allowed German buyers to see firsthand how these products combine compact design with high comfort.
Hebe’s booth was very busy, with many local German dealers, cross-border e-commerce platforms, and large furniture retailers visiting to discuss potential partnerships. Buyers praised the products’ design and environmental features, and showed great interest in Hebe’s advantages in transportation and packaging costs. To address the challenges of long-distance shipping and multimodal transport in Europe, Hebe developed an integrated solution involving compressed packaging, smart loading, and dedicated logistics services. This approach increases the capacity of a 40-foot container by three times, reducing shipping costs by over 60%. Recyclable packaging materials reduce packaging costs by 30% while meeting EU sustainability requirements. Hebe also collaborated with leading logistics companies to establish direct shipping routes from Foshan to Hamburg and Rotterdam, streamlining customs procedures and shortening delivery times from 45 days to 32 days. This reduces capital turnover time significantly. This comprehensive cost-saving approach meets German buyers’ needs for low costs, fast delivery, and minimal losses, making it a key factor in establishing successful partnerships.
With years of experience in overseas markets, Hebe continues to innovate and improve its supply chain based on regional needs. For the German market, the company not only adapts its products locally but also sets up warehouses and local service teams to ensure seamless integration between “Chinese manufacturing” and “European service”. At this year’s Cologne Fair, Hebe secured many cooperation opportunities and established strategic partnerships with several leading German furniture companies to explore new sustainable supply chain models for the EU market.
